Before after photos tummy tuck
Form your own opinion based on these results
For all tummy tucks, photos are taken for documentation purposes during the consultation. This is used for planning the operation and for comparison purposes. These operations often involve body-shape changing procedures. This change is clearly visible immediately after the procedure, but will “work” somewhat within the first 6 months. Patients go through an emotional time here. Initially, there is often some doubt about the purpose and success of the operation, which is often accompanied by a degree of uncertainty. Due to the initial swelling and possible hematoma formation (bruising), the result does not yet meet expectations. As soon as the initial swelling is reduced and the haematoma fades, the result can already be seen more clearly. Patients describe this phase as “relief”. As the goal is foreseeable, the start, i.e. the original state before the operation, is often forgotten. As the last swelling subsides approx. 2-3 months after the operation, the actual “joy” about the result of the operation begins. However, this joy is then permanent and is reinforced by the direct comparison of the “before” pictures.
Here you will find a small selection of photos of patients of different age groups and different anatomical variations.
What you can expect after a tummy tuck treatment
Patients who opt for a tummy tuck often also suffer from increased fatty tissue and loss of elasticity in the connective tissue. Since surgical removal of the fatty tissue alone is often not sufficient, skin and connective tissue are also removed during abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) to reshape the body.
In the photos above you can see the results approximately 6-12 months after the treatment. The targeted combination of tummy tuck, liposuction and body tite can reduce volume and tighten and reshape tissue. The result is a natural, not artificial, overall appearance. Of course, every anatomy is unique, but you may find yourself in one or two pictures.
But what will you look like shortly after the operation? Immediately after the operation, the treated areas will swell slightly. Occasionally there are hematomas (bruising) which can last for about 10-14 days.
The final result can be assessed after around 6-12 months, when the newly shaped tissue on the abdomen and flanks becomes visible. We always take great care to ensure that the surrounding areas are also treated in order to leave the transition and therefore the appearance as natural as possible! If desired, these operations can also be combined with others.
